Craig Price, CEO & Founder of Price Wealth Management in Stuart, Florida, became interested in investing in the 1960’s when every night over family dinner, his Dad, Gary, told exciting stories about stocks he liked and recommended to his clients. His father’s excitement about investing was contagious, and later, during Craig’s high school years in Florida, Gary taught him how to interpret stock charts.
Every month, Craig anxiously anticipated the print-edition of the Daily Graphs arriving in the mail. Craig scanned hundreds of stock charts, searching for growing companies with bullish trends and rising profits. With a list of the best stocks he could find, Craig would sit at the kitchen table after dinner was cleared and go over every stock with his Dad. Their close father-son relationship, together with their shared passion for investing, set the stage for a partnership that would come together ten years later.
In 1993, Craig moved his young family from South Bend, Indiana to Florida and he joined his Dad in the business at Prudential Securities. Drawing on his father’s 35 years of experience, Craig learned quickly how to navigate bull and bear markets for his clients. Gradually going beyond just investing skills, Craig learned to develop relationships of deep trust which put his clients’ interests and concerns first above all else.
In 2007, Craig acquired his Certified Financial Planner designation and he broadened his scope of services beyond his roots as a stock broker like his father. This newer, more comprehensive approach led to the formation of Price Wealth Management, one of the first such multi-member teams in Stuart, Florida. Today, Craig’s holistic approach to investing includes discretionary investments, retirement planning, liquidity events, trusts, wealth transfer strategies, estate planning, and philanthropic giving.
Price Wealth Management is an Investment Advisor Representative branch office of Naples Wealth Planning, a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). As an owner-owned, fee-only firm, our employees’ compensation is closely aligned with our clients interests. This is in contrast to the shareholder-first culture of some brokerage firms. As a fee-only practice which is not incentivized by commission compensation, our client’s wealth is managed to the higher fiduciary standard of care. To fulfill this fiduciary mandate, Price Wealth Management employs professionals with advanced degrees, financial certifications, and career experience with investment management, fiduciary services, and client service.
